Sunflowers

I buy the colored glass tiles for my works at the historic Orsoni glass factory in Venice.
I usually buy bags with specific colors but I also like to buy the packages with the glass splinters left over from the work, it's like a lottery, you never know what colors arrive, imagine a transparent plastic bag with 5 kg of multicolored splinters, a rainbow fragmented and crumbled.
With patience I divide the splinters and fragments by color and put them in small transparent bags divided by size and shade of color.
Once a bag arrived with a predominance of orange color and the small pointed splinters made me think of the petals of sunflowers
and behold, all those small fragments of vivid orange color are recomposed, first in my mind and then with the help of my hands, my fingers, into vivid sunflowers.
