Pomegranates

I love this very special fruit: the leathery exterior defends the precious interior: small pink drops of fresh water that resemble translucent glass beads.
A plant that lives in warm environments and with little water: I imagine the pleasure of thirsty mouths in squeezing the sweet and thirst-quenching liquid as a gift from God.
Fruit that has inspired all kinds of artistic representations (sculpture, painting, weaving) due to its powerful symbolic meaning, it is present in a transversal way in many peoples and cultures (ancient Egypt, ancient Greece-Persephone myth-Jewish Torah ornaments-European Christian motifs Madonnas of Botticelli, Persia, China, India, Azerbaijan.
I had the intuition to make a cut and "highlight" the seeds made with semi-transparent glass from Venice to "bring out" and show the preciousness of the interior, like rubies contained in the leather bag of a merchant.....
